I bought two of these for my dog and my sister's dog, both in XL. My dog, Maggie, has the build of a lab (deep chest, small stomach, long legs) with a neck measurement of 18 inches and a girth measurement of 29 inches. She weighs about 40 pounds and is very much on the skinny side. This outfit was a bit big for her around the waist, but the length was perfect so we doctored it up a bit with some velcro for a tighter fit and it worked perfectly. It must have been comfortable because she was content to wear it for a few hours on halloween without any issues. My sister's dog, Bailey, has a very similar to build to Maggie but isn't as thin. She stands a few inches taller and has the same neck measurement off 18 inches but a bit larger girth at 30 inches. The costume fit her a little better as she isn't as skinny and again the length was perfect. She didn't mind the costume either and wore it a few hours halloween night. The costume seems to be well made and we didn't have any issues with craftsmanship. They both looked so cute as pumpkins, the puffy back is really cute. None of them liked the hat much so we didn't bother with them.

I have a 2 year english bulldog nothing fits his akward body shape but this outfit in a xl did!

totally cute costume! high quality and well-made (never bought a dog costume before...). although my pup didn't stay in it long (she's not used to wearing anything except her collar and leash) it was fun while it lasted and exactly what i wanted for her for the evening! :) also, i should mention that the sizing advice provided by the vendor was pretty good, too. my dog is a lanky 9-month old golden retriever who weighs 50 pounds. she has a pretty long body so i got the XL. it fit her well even though she is thin because it needed to be long enough to cover the length of her body.

I was 7 months pregnant around Halloween this year, so my husband and I wore some 1980's pumpkin costumes that my parents had from when my Mom was pregnant with me. Naturally, our dog Layla needed to match! So we ordered this costume and it turned out perfectly - true to size and it shipped very quickly. Highly recommend!
