I have a Great Dane puppy that I bought this bed for. It will definately last through adulthood. We also have a lab who waits for the dane to get up so she can lay in the bed. I will probably be ordering another one soon.

Bought 1 of these for my Dane already and then went and bought a 2nd one after a month. It's big, soft, durable, and my Dane likes it. What more can you ask. Really to get anything like this locally your gonna pay $100+. It's sort of like a bean bag chair for your dog. Except the filling is large chunks of foam and memory foam and after unpacking it settles out its like 5-6" thick and stays that way. Best bed I've found. Denim fabric is pretty durable too. Only thing I found I don't like is the fabric turned one of my walls blue where it rubbed against the wall. I'm sure I a wash or two would solve that.

I have a 13 year old Australian Shepherd (larger than standard) and her joints are becoming very sore with her old age. Being born with hip dysplasia has also caused her to put more strain on her front shoulder causing her to have even more pain - front and back - and also in her neck. I bought this bed as a Xmas gift for her and she loves it. Now that she has made/claimed her indentation, the pressure is off her shoulder and hips and her head is comforted on her newly created bolster. I've noticed that she is not getting up during the night to constantly reposition herself.
The bed is very large and both my dogs - the Aussie and the Golden Retriever - have no problems sharing the bed, but they love the idea of single sleep smack damn in the middle being engulfed in pure bliss.

This bed is a great size for larger dogs. When I took it out of the bag, I let it rest for 2 days before using. My dog slept on it for 2 days after that and had it flattened! I don't feel there is enough stuffing inside to hold a 150lb Great Dane. Maybe others received more stuffing inside than I did? Other than that, I think it's a great deal especially getting an extra cover with it! I will just have to find more stuffing to put inside since there are no returns once it's been used.

This thing could comfortably rest a lion, or 2 German Shepherd.
It's reasonably thick and fluffy and the denim cover is great. I bought a smaller one of these several months ago, heavily used by my 15 rescue dogs and the cover is in mint shape to this day.
