Smells too much like chemicals and feels a little bit sticky afterwardsAug 03, 2008
By J. Chau Just doesn't smell good. Makes me feel like I just wiped the puppy with paint thinner or something. After the bath, it makes his fur feel a little bit sticky and the smell just doesn't go away for a few days.

Does not seem to clean much, a bit stickyMar 19, 2010
By Bob Dobolina I bought this to clean my long-hair dog's mouth after he eats or his paws after he comes in from a walk, and it was pretty much useless for it. While it is waterless, you do soak the dog's hair with this stuff until it's damp. You then have to comb it and let it dry just like you would with water. I found it did not help get debris/food out at all and left a slight sticky residue. A wet washcloth worked far better for my dog, unfortunately.
If you have a short-haired dog, perhaps it would work better.
pleasant smell and dogs looks very cleanFeb 24, 2012
By Tluv Let me start by saying I love synergy lab products. This product is no exception. I don't consider the smell to be on the line of coconut, but very inviting and pleasant, not overwhelming at all. I have 4month old gray Newfoundland and he really enjoyed the massage that came with applying the foam waterless bath. After wiping him down really good with a towel, I followed up with the synergy lab gloss and glide and his coat looks amazing. I would recommend for sure.

Their only waterless shampooJan 08, 2010
By Y. K. Liow This is the first waterless shampoo we've used on our 2 Cavalier King Charles and I had been worried about sticky residue when I first thought of waterless shampoos.
I had nothing to compare this product against, till I decided to try another brand which not only matted my dogs' fur together (the fur on their tail clumped together upon contact with the other brand of waterless shampoo and was hard to separate. It wasn't easy to brush through after they were dry either), it felt sticky too. It was tea tree oil but smell nothing near to that. And the dirt on their paws/tail (or wherever) just got soaked upwards as I rubbed the solution into their fur. Did not clean at all.
Veterinary Formula smells very pleasant (like one of the reviewer mentioned, of coconut), lasts for over a week even if I've only used it on their paws and leaves no residues of any sort. I've yet to mentioned that they clean surprisingly well too! They foam up and all you do is clean the dirty foam away with a towel and what's white is white again.
Am going back to this for sure :)

"Dog fancy"
I have basset hounds and about 5 days after getting washed they smell a little houndy but with this product they have a light coconut smell that lasts. I like it because it soap free and because it has coconut oil it is safe for me to use on my dog with skin allergies. I highly recommend this product I have been using it for about 6 months. . . check it out
