I actually use this as a small trash can in my bathroom. My dog loves to dig in the trash and I used to just keep the bathroom door closed when I was not at home. However I recently moved and my dog has figured out how to open the bathroom door. I was very tired of cleaning up the mess daily and couldn't figure out a solution. I tried to find a trash can with a locking lid and had no luck unless I wanted an industrial one in my bathroom. I came across this jar by chance and it has solved all of my problems. I will definitely get more of these to use as they were intended. Very durable and not hard at all to open and close.

We bought one of these jars for us and liked it so much, we bought some for family members who also have pets! Cute design and good seal. The treats stay fresh. Its a good buy!
