Great toy to keep the dog happy!Dec 05, 2009
By Holly Lauber I got this product for my border collie when he was 8 weeks old. To get him interested in it I would place treats at the end. He loves to chew on this bone when it has a treat in it and loves to play with it even when it doesn't now. I also like mixing dry dog food with wet food and stuffing the ends. He has to work on it a little bit longer than just putting a regular treat in it. He is now 6 months old with his adult teeth and still chews on it with no problems of it falling apart.

Puppies liked to try and get the treatMay 18, 2009

My two dogs; one two years old and the other is 4 months old both liked the chew bone with the treats on the ends. It is a little hard to get the treats in the bone but the puppies seem to be able to get them out.
Puppy Kong BoneMay 23, 2011
By Judah This was given as a gift to my Keeshond puppy when he came home from the breeders. Doesn't like it won't chew on it, once treats are gone which is a matter of minutes. My puppy says no thank you.
A Great Starter Toy!May 03, 2011
By Joanna "Joylia" Hiroi I have a german shephard puppy mix that I adopted when he was 7 weeks. I hadn't realized his breed until later or how fast he'd grow but starting off this was a great toy for him. My suggestion is if you know that your puppy is going to be a large dog - get him a larger puppy toy otherwise he'll outgrow this pretty quick. Overall though - I recommend KONG pet toys because through the years, it is a brand that I can trust.
Not What I Expected, But Puppy Loves ItApr 01, 2011
By Alexi Darling My 12 week old puppy loves this, but it was not what I expected. It looks like a semi-transparent bone with openings on the top to put tiny treats in. What it actually is a rubber bone (very flexible) with cut outs that go clean through on both ends for those long stick treats (like the Ziggles Kong makes). I haven't used them with the treats because those seem a bit expensive (and it wasn't what I was expecting for them to be), but my little Lhasa Shih loves how thin the bone is because she can easily fit the middle part in her mouth. Unlike the Nylabone puppy toys which are still fairly firm, this is very flexible (which she seems to like the gummy texture of). I opened the box yesterday, and she was trying to swipe it from me as I got it out of the package. She couldn't be happier.
