My cat has liver disease and both his traditional vet and his holistic vet recommend SamE and milk thistle for support of the liver. This product contains the active forms of these ingredients and the pill digests easily. Another brand we bought did not digest. After giving him that brand, the cat threw up the next day and it was still undigested. S Adenosyl is best given between meals, but since it bothered our cat's stomach and he vomited within 20 minutes for three days in a row, the vet said to try it with food and we haven't had a problem since. I recommend this product.

Protects my cat's liverJan 07, 2008

I have been using this product for the last three years. My veterinarian recommended it to protect my now 10 year old cat's liver from the effects of hi doses of prednisone. It seems to be working well as all annual geriatric checkups have shown excellent liver function. As the product is enterically coated it must be dissolved in the stomach, so pilling the cat is required.

I started using this product, upon my vets recommendation, for my poodle who has chronic hepatitis. After taking this product for about 6 weeks, his liver enzymes were almost down to normal. This is amazing, considering that we have been trying other products for about 3 years now. This worked best so far. My vet told me to continue to use this for the rest of his life. He is the sweetest dog and hopefully he will live a long time.

"Penguin freak"
I am having to give this product per my vet's presription. I am finding it cheaper thru Yahoo. My cat is 15, but sure doesn't act it, especially after the use of this product. I hate having to pill her on a daily basis (whipped cream helps, and I have to cut the pill in half), but I'd hate to see her without it!

When my dog was given this supplement by his Vet, it was fairly expensive. I get the same supplement from EntirelyPets at a much better price and their service is excellent. High recommended vendor!
