The description of this item failed to mention the fact that the hand grip is also "mini". Every retractable leash I've ever seen or used has had room to comfortably put all four fingers around the handle. Not this one. It's made to accommodate only three normal sized fingers, making it extremely uncomfortable to use on long walks. The belt mechanism works very well and if you have only three fingers, then you may like this leash. Otherwise, stick with the larger models.

I just wish I could have gotten 2 of these to replace one that I have had for many years. This is a great leash.
