This is a nicely designed harness but the sizing chart shown is incorrect for this particular style. I had to return my original purchase of a size medium for a size large. At 13 pounds, my dog is NOT what anyone would consider "large" but their sizing says she is... Go to [...] and click on the "Soft Harness" link under Products on the left side of the screen to check the true size chart for this vest style harness.

My Jack Russells are 2 and 8 months and we LOVE these harnesses. They are easy to put on, they help with the pulling. We let them swim in the ocean in them and they dry easily, and the hardware has never failed or rusted. They are very durable, and fashionable. Everywhere we go people ask us where to get them. I have several colors and we keep buying more just to have backups and because of the new puppy growing. The mesh ones are the best. I wash the mesh ones in the washing machine frequently and I have never had any problems. I would recommend these to everyone with a small dog, especially a small dog that is strong like mine.
Also they are true to size. The mesh ones do stretch a little over time, so if your dog is full grown, will be active and swimming, and you are borderline on size, I would lean towards the smaller size.

My 7-pound Min Pin insists on pulling whenever we encounter a duck or squirrel on our walks (which, in Florida, is frequently). Although I use Martingale collars, which suffice for 95% of the time, when she sees one of the aforementioned creatures, she strangles herself in an attempt to reach them. I tried a variety of harnesses, including custom made ones, but none felt as secure and fit as well as this. With the combination of the velcro and the buckle, she can make sudden, violent tugs on her leash without endangering her trachea. Very beautifully made, as well. Colors are very vibrant. Would definitely recommend.

I really like the design of the harness. It is very easy to fasten the pupppies up for a walk. I no longer have to force my My Mini D's head through a harness opening. It securely holds my dog without the worry of straps digging into them when they try to chase Rabbits or birds. The snap and velcro closure are located on the dog's back which makes putting on and removal easy. The hardware and materials are of good quality. I bought 2 of these harness's one medium and one large and I'm happy with these items.

I really like the design of the harness. It securely holds my dog without the worry of straps digging into her when she tries to chase squirrels. The snap and velcro closure are located on the dog's back which makes removal easy, and the hardware and materials are of good quality. Puppia must cater to small dogs because I had to exchange the Medium size for a Large - odd considering my dog is only 11-12 lbs. Aside from the sizing mishap, this harness is very nice, and I'm happy with this item.
