It's better than nothingNov 09, 2011

We bought this dog house for our lab about a year and a half ago. At first it worked great and gave her shelter from the heat in the summer and cold windy nights. It was easy to assemble and is easy to clean. After the first summer here in Arizona the roof was discolored along with the side that was western facing. By the end of our second summer the roof is warped and almost a charred black color. The outside walls are also discolored but have not blistered and bubbled like the roof. This dog house was kept under our covered porch the whole time we have had it. Also, the door was ripped off by the end of the first summer. I would have expected that for the price it would last significantly longer than two summers. Overall, I am disappointed.

I've had this dog house about a year and a half. My dogs chewed the corners of the roof and that's how I found out it's plastic laminated over CARDBOARD :/
I wish someone would design a dog house that is as strong and well made as a dogloo, that isn't so ugly to look at. Until then, I'm still searching for something better made.
I would not buy this product again.
