I bought this product after reviewing several different kinds of donut dog beds on Amazon because my dog really likes to have something to lay up against. I was concerned because several reviews of other beds said that the middle was thin and didn't offer any padding. Not this bed!! I have a 3 year old, 70 pound lab with 2 fake hips and he loves this bed! The middle is thick and soft and the sides are excellent for him to lay against. It looks exactly like the picture. Its very warm, so I'm concerned he won't use it as much in the summer, but it's perfect for the winter. I bought the extra large because he likes to stretch out and I'm glad I did. He has plenty of room to lay anyway he chooses and he's not crammed or crunched. I have not washed the bed yet so I have no idea whether it will fall apart but so far I really think this bed will work out.

I have a lab and this bed is a great size for her, she loves the pillow that goes all the way around. However, she chewed a hole in it and pulled out the stuffing. They use a strong canvas material for the outer pillow, but the inside is not, so if you have a dog that likes to chew...beware!

First off, the bed is GREAT. my dog loves it. it's just a shame it's only available from this company. I ordered the wrong size okay my mistake and tried to contact the company to go about the return process. took forever to get through to the company, don't even BOTHER emailing because they sure as hell don't bother emailing back. I called again and finally a response. it costs me a fortune to mail the bed back for return. I wait for a solid week til after the tracking conf says they received to give them a call with a 'hey whats up with the status of my refund' . well no response. i tried a few more times and then finally a response. a NASTY email from this Elena Peters person. well i'm still waiting for a refund to show up somewhere. maybe a more detailed explanation other than:
"You've
had
it
since
May
17th."
would be appropriate. anywho. if you buy the bed and encounter a problem with it, BEWARE the (insert nasty word)s who work there.

My dog loves this bed!Aug 21, 2009

I have a 12-year-old greyhound who loves big, fluffy soft beds (can you blame her!). Anyway, every time I get her a new bed, she spends days sleeping more than usual. Eventually her activity level returns to normal, but it's no different with this bed.
Since she's been getting up way too early in the mornings, I've had to use the bed as a "reward". I have her sleep on her older bed during the day, and bring this out only at bedtime. Problem is pretty much solved! Once she settles in, she's not moving.
Bed looks nice and does not take up alot of room. It's only been about a month, but she has not managed to put any holes in it yet.

I have bought more dog beds then I can count over the years but this one is all it is cracked up to be. Great Dane and Wiemereiner both covet this bed so I had to but a second one even though I had three older beds lying around. This is the only bed I would ever buy again.
