If you are not using the sizing chart, stand your dog on a blank piece of paper. Trace the outline of a front paw - including toenails. Keep the pen tightly against the paw, squishing all fur. Be sure your dog puts his full weight on the paw.
Measure the length of the paw outline from the heel to the end of the toenails.
Choose the size that fits the entire paw - including toenails and excluding fur. A snug fit is best - boots that are too large may slip off. 1.5" (3.8 cm) ITTY BITTY

"Chilean reader"
My hiperactive smooth fox terrier got used to them quite quickly, they are very safe and useful in snow. Quite a good product.

I like these but sometimes they fall off of my dog's feet and I'm not sure how tight I shoudl make the velcro. My dog hates them and walks weird in them but then got used to them in the cold. Better than frost bite when he wants a walk in Minnesota's winter.
