Another Toy That Our Dogs Love to Play WithDec 29, 2006

We got this Large Air Dog Squeaker Tennis Ball for our 80lb dog, since he easily destroys regular tennis balls with the strength of his teeth - and he loves it! He's been playing with it on & off for a few days now, and it's still in great shape - a first for him & tennis balls (smile)!
Although this tennis ball was only meant for him, we've found that our 2 smaller dogs have also enjoyed playing with this big ball - even though it's really too big for them - it's really a joy to watch!
Overall, I would highly recommend this squeaky tennis ball for all large-breed dogs. It seems to be quite well made & allows them to have a tennis ball that's just right for their size.

not so greatFeb 01, 2008
By S. SKI My German Shepherd loves balls. In fact she loves to just hold them in her mouth and crunch on them. These balls and tennis balls last about two days after an encounter with Chauncey. The thing ends up coming apart in two hemispheres! She could care less about a squeeker, but those don't last long either. I ended up buying a "Dur-A-Ball" from Menards, $2. She's been working on that one for a least a week!!

Great dog toy for active dog!!!Sep 07, 2009
By Kim I have two labs that love to play rough. The large Air Dog balls by Kong fit their mouth nicely (not worrying about choking like normal size tennis balls). The dogs love that the ball squeaks. My labs are extremely rough on toys. I have bought every toy out there and they will destroy them over time (usually in about 2 weeks time if it is a toy that is suppose to be indestructable). For a ball - this ball lasts my dogs a couple of months. Then they tear the ball apart. For a ball to last even one week in my house is amazing. I buy approximately 6 - 8 balls a year (my children sometimes loose them outside too and we love to have more than one ball going since we have more than one dog). I would recommend this size ball to anyone who has a dog that is over 50 pounds, otherwise they might be too big for the dogs mouth. I would also recommend this toy to anyone who has dogs that are rough on toys like mine. (Just so you understand how rough my dogs are: Stuffed animals - destroyed in an hour, tennis balls ripped apart in a day, bones that are suppose to last a week are gone in an hour, etc.). The other thing that is extremely great about this ball is that it squeaks - my labs will actually pick the ball up and just squeak it with their mouths to let us know they want to play ball. And in the middle of playing, to let you know they are having fun - they will squeak it and then drop it so we can then throw it again. We also have the dumbell squeaking toy by Kong and the dogs love that toy also.

The Perfect ComboJan 15, 2008
By Dog training instructor I have a 60 lb. retriever/shep mix who loves squeaky toys and tennis balls. Combine these two items and make it bigger for a large mouth and you have a favorite toy! My dog loves this toy better than any other. It lasts her a long time and withstands her daily play. It's in her mouth on and off all day every day and is a must at the dog park. Best Kong product I've bought yet. I wish it weren't so hard to find though!
