This is a well made all rubber ball, but read the caveat "for small dog" I thought since it said "large", it was. It's just a tad larger than a tennis ball. If this is "large", small must be like a "jacks" ball. My mistake. Still, my large breed, Labradoodle loves it!

this is a great ball ,my dog loved it so much, he eventully chewed it up,
it's great for fetch, but not to leave unattended as dog can chew it apart, and my dog is only 14 pounds~

MY GREAT DANE MANDI LOVES THIS TOY. SHE EATS ALMOST ALL THE TOYS THAT I GET HER BUT NOT THIS ONE. WHEN WE GO TO THE DOG PARK, THIS IS THE ONE TOY THAT ALL THE DOGS LOVE TO FETCH. IT WORKS GREAT FOR ALL SIZE DOGS.

The Tanzanian Mountain Ball Large Dog Toy I received as others have commented is not that Large. It was also black. I am very disappointed in the color and I'm sure it will be lost in the shadows very quickly. I think I would have liked this item had it been a different color than the one I received.

Our ball-crazy Lab LOVES these. He won't touch tennis balls but will fetch these for 20 minutes straight. Highly durable, even for a chewy Lab puppy. Great bounce. Just wish they'd quit getting stuck under the deck and in the creek. We bought six at a time.
