Have been using Hartz flea and tick products for years and they work great! It's a lot easier to prevent fleas than to treat them once spotted, so make sure to use the Hartz products with insect growth regulators(?). I've tried prescription flea and tick products from my vet and Hartz drops work just as good if not better at 1/3 the price (for 3 month doses no less!). Just make sure to read the label and use as directed.

I have 7 dogs in my home, most are small dogs 20 lbs and under. This is the first time in years I have had a flea problem. I used these drops on Wed. Today is Sat., and I can still see live fleas on my dogs! NOT worth the money! I am on Amazon now looking for something stronger. I did not purchase Wed.'s stock from Amazon. I had to get it fast, so I went to my local discount dept store to purchase it.

What a disappointment! First, the fleas tried jumping on ME for a week, then I didn't see any for about a week. By the third week, I saw 1 the first day, 3 the next, 5 the next, and so on until both I and my dog were covered once again. I did the second application at the end of the third week, as both of us were miserable; and once again, the effect only lasted almost three weeks. I used the last application yesterday, knowing it was too soon, but tired of being bitten and kept awake all night by my dog's biting and scratching, and she threw up in my bed! This is definitely not worth the cheap price.
