Interesting Concept, Flawed ExecutionJun 01, 2010
By Jason L. Pyrz They say this is for small dogs, unfortunately, the "bone" is about an inch thick, which makes it a little hard for my small dog (pug, and a larger pug at that) to get his mouth around it and benefit from the brushes. The brushes are recessed, with only a quarter inch or so sticking out from the plastic casing. The thing that really got to me about this product though, is that it did not come with doggy toothpaste. You'd think it would, since they show it in the picture, but nope, had to order that separately. My dog shows absolutely no interest in this thing now, maybe he will once I get the toothpaste.

Not worth the moneyJun 14, 2011
By Christen This product looks like it would be very durable but it falls apart very quickly. I got the small/medium for my 15 lb Westie and she has absolutely destroyed it...taken chunks out of the plastic/pulled out all the bristles. Even with taking it away after a few mins, it only last maybe 3 uses. I also bought the large for my 72lb German Shepherd and she just acts like she doesn't know what to do with it. She just carries it around and licks off the toothpaste. I thought this was a really good idea but it really will depend on if your dog uses it in a way to make it actually clean their teeth.

Does NOT come with toothpasteMay 25, 2011
By Paul Do not be fooled by the picture. Amazon assigns the picture to the UPC, the seller has no say over it. This package arrives with only the bone/brush. The seller, however, was very helpful with the situation. A+ to the seller, and a D for Amazon on this one.

Brushing Made FunApr 11, 2009
By M. Kamienski Like most dogs,my dog does not like having his teeth brushed. It almost seems like a futile attempt to clean his teeth, as he would only stay still to brush about a quarter of his teeth. He would then squirm & run away. This is a wonderful invention, as he actually begs for the brush. Even though he still does not get every tooth, it's better than before & the best part is that he's happily brushing by himself. That makes me happy as well.
My dogs love thisMay 18, 2012
By Mrs. Consumer My Maltipoo & Morkie go crazy when I pull this thing out. They think it is a "treat". I only leave the brush down for 2 minutes or so and then take it away, so as to keep the brush exciting for them. The brush shown here does not come with toothpaste, so you will have to purchase that separately. My dogs like the Nutri -Vet Enzymatic Chicken flavored brand. The best part is that both of my dogs' breath smell so much better after we use this.
