Well made and solid productDec 04, 2008
By W. Abraham I purchased the Cayman 2 Pet Carrier after seeing similar brands for sale at the local Petco and PetSmart stores. This carrier is very solid and well made (much better than the store brands I saw). You will need to assemble the carrier and the instructions could have been a little clearer, but overall it took no more than 10 minutes to complete. The bottom piece arrived damaged, but after a quick phone call to Marchioro (the manufacturer), a replacement part was shipped via UPS and arrived the following day.

For My G/F's Full Figured CatMay 02, 2009
By Jeffrey Fink Got it for one of my girlfriend's cats, and it seems to fit him fine. Assembly was a bit weird; be sure to install the little wire door with the hinge to the right as in the illustration and you'll be fine.

We used the carrier to transport our 10 pound Cockapoo from LA to Chicago. The carrier arrived promptly. Assembly was a bit challenging: putting the door on was a pain, but doable. Do be sure to put screws and bolts in to firmly attach the top and bottom halves. They are not included but really need to be there to ensure that the carrier won't separate if banged around. It is firm and secure, has a nice handle and notches for a strap (strap not included though), the door is strong, and the air slats allow circulation but limit the vision somewhat to hopefully not let the environment be too overwhelming for your pet. We were very impressed, especially for the price. Be sure to have some kind of bedding to put inside as that is not included either.

Solid Carrier, Doesn't Fit My Large CatMay 29, 2010
By geist I have a problem finding a good carrier for my extra large cat (20 lbs.). On one hand I don't want one that is so huge I can't carry it, but on the other hand I don't want to squish him into a tiny little box where he feels uncomfortable.
This carrier is nice and solid, and can certainly hold his weight without feeling like its going to break, but it just isn't tall enough for him. He can lay down, but he just can't sit up.
I will keep this one for short trips in the carrier (like to the vet), but I don't think any cat larger than 12 lbs will really want to spend very much time in it at all.

Nice carrier for the moneyMay 08, 2010
By Wendy Tietz This carrier seems sturdy and it was (relatively) easy to get my cat in it for a trip to the vet. Easy to assemble.
