 Gate itself was okay, but flimsy with extensions...Mar 03, 2011

I ordered 2 24" extensions to go with my gate in order to block off a 7' entryway to my kitchen. All of the extensions (the gate comes with 3 small extensions, making for 6 separate sections of gate total) make the gate flimsy and hard to install. I sent mine back for a refund.

This gate is a better choice for dogs that like to chew. It is also less likely to break or split than the wooden ones. Getting the right fit can be tricky since you don't want to end up with a gate that is too wide for the opening or have too much space on either end for the pet to fit through but, once you get that right, it is a pretty nice gate.
